Another early day at the worksite! Back into the trenches we went this morning, with slightly less rigour than yesterday, but definitely improved technique : ) . We were all a little sore this morning, but everyone powered through the aches and dug some terrific holes today. With 2 finished, we stopped for lunch and finished a third in the afternoon. We'll get going on the other 4 and 1/2 tomorrow!
We stopped slightly early this afternoon to enjoy a swim at one of Cebu's fancier hotels. It was definitely nice to cool off and give our digging muscles a break, and try to counter-act the major farmers tan that I'm sure we will all develop in the next couple of weeks! Definitely a nice afternoon off after some serious digging time.
We found another great place for dinner (tons of fresh seafood) and then back to the hotel for a quick round of cards before bed.
